Paul Ellinger

Paul Ellinger is the Vice President, CFO, and Comptroller for the University of Illinois System since July 2021, overseeing all financial functions, budget execution, and capital projects. With a long-standing tenure at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign starting in August 1995, Paul serves as Associate Chancellor and Vice Provost for Budget and Resource Planning, offering strategic budget planning and management of the campus budget office. Previous experience includes a faculty position at Texas A&M AgEco from June 1992 to July 1995. Paul Ellinger holds a PhD in Finance, an MS in Agricultural Economics, and a B.S. in Agricultural Mechanization, all from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
