Peter Weiden

Peter Weiden currently serves as the Director of Football Operations at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a position held since January 2023. Previously, Peter was the Chief of Staff and Director of Football Program Operations at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from January 2019 to January 2023, overseeing various aspects of the football program, including staff and budget management. Prior roles include Director of Football Program Operations at Mississippi State University and Assistant Director of Football Operations at the University of Minnesota, where responsibilities encompassed daily operations, facility management, and compliance with NCAA regulations. Peter's extensive experience in football operations also includes positions at the University of Arkansas, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Madison West High School, and internships with the Baltimore Ravens and Georgia Institute of Technology. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from St. Cloud State University and a Master's degree in Athletic Administration from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
