Dr. Claire Gordon

Dr. Claire Gordon is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in communication. Currently serving as a full-time faculty member and Director of Speech and Debate at the University of Illinois Springfield since August 2023, Dr. Gordon previously held the position of Professor of Communication at Lincoln Land Community College from August 1993 to May 2022. Prior to that role, Dr. Gordon was an Assistant Professor at the University of Cincinnati from 1984 to 1990. Dr. Gordon holds a Ph.D. in Communication from The Ohio State University, completed in 1984, a Master's degree in Communication from Miami University, achieved in 1979, and a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Miami University, obtained in 1978.
