Russ Stoup

Russ Stoup is an experienced educator and administrator currently serving as the Associate Director of Continuing and Professional Education at the University of Illinois Springfield since January 2022. In addition, Stoup holds positions as an Instructor for Internship and Prior Learning and as the CAPE Coordinator of Professional Programs at the same institution. Previously, Stoup was the Education Technology Administrator and an Instructor in Career Development and Decision Making at Shawnee Community College from April 1999 to September 2022. Early career experience includes a role as Assistant Manager at Walmart from June 1989 to April 1999. Stoup's educational background includes a Master Online Leader & Administrator Certificate from the University of Illinois Springfield, a Master's degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from Western Illinois University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
