Keana W.

Keana W. has a diverse work experience in human resources and finance. Keana currently serves as the Director of Human Resources at the University of Kentucky Federal Credit Union. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at AppHarvest. Keana has also gained extensive experience at Kroger, where they held multiple positions including Plant Senior Human Resources Manager, Plant Assistant Human Resources Manager, and Operations, Human Resources, and Merchandising Assistant Store Manager. Keana'sresponsibilities in these roles included employee engagement, recruitment, training, conflict resolution, and talent management. Additionally, Keana had early experience as an Accounts Payable/ Payroll Clerk at Newcomb Oil Co., LLC, where they handled financial tasks such as invoice review, reconciliation, and general ledger preparation.

Keana W. completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from LSU Shreveport from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Management and Human Resources from St. Catharine College from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Keana W. also holds several certifications, including SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from HRCI, both obtained in July 2023.
