Aracely Torres has more than 10 years of experience in higher education settings including the following functional areas: career development; student activities/student government; new student orientation; parent and family programs; access, equity, diversity, and inclusion. Torres is committed to creating spaces that support and foster a sense of belonging for minoritized communities. Torres is a first-generation student. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Whittier College and a Master of Science in Higher Education from Cal State Fullerton. In her spare time, Torres enjoys taking yoga and barre classes, gardening, and learning about human dynamics.
