Laura Evans

Laura Evans is the current Director of Financial Aid at the University of La Verne. Prior to their current position, Laura was an Assistant Director of Financial Aid at UMass Global from February 2015 to September 2020. In this role, Laura managed a team of seven in developing and maintaining all electronic processes and quality assurance within the Financial Aid Office. Laura also oversaw internal and interdepartmental training initiatives and served as a primary resource on financial aid policy for institutional innovations. Laura was also a Title IX Investigator at UMass Global from February 2017 to September 2020, where they investigated all Title IX case inquiries, interviewed involved parties, and made recommendations to the Director of Title IX on applicability of policy to individual circumstances. Prior to their time at UMass Global, Laura was a System Administrator for Financial Aid at Chapman University from July 2009 to March 2011 and then a Resource Specialist in Financial Aid from November 2008 to July 2009.

Laura Evans has a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from UMass Global and a Bachelor of Arts in Religion/Religious Studies from Vanguard University of Southern California.
