Dami Folayan

Dami Folayan is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Leeds, focusing on the Generation Delta project aimed at increasing the representation of racially minoritised women in the UK professorate. Dami has extensive experience in educational research at the University of Cambridge and has held various roles, including Research Assistant and Consultant, where contributions supported underrepresented group participation in postgraduate courses. Additionally, Dami served as the Chief Sustainability Officer at Niyo Group, driving sustainability initiatives, and held leadership positions such as Head of Research and Organisational Development and Head of People. Dami is also involved in mentorship programs, such as the Impetus Leadership Academy, and has volunteered with UN Women UK, contributing to initiatives addressing gendered poverty and bridging the digital divide. Dami's academic background includes a PhD in Education from the University of Cambridge, a Master's in International Social Change and Policy, and a Bachelor's in Sociology and Education Studies.
