Ed Manley currently serves as the Pro-Dean for Research and Innovation at the University of Leeds and holds the title of Professor of Urban Analytics at the School of Geography and the Leeds Institute for Data Analytics. Previously, Ed Manley has held various significant roles at UCL, including Honorary Professor and Associate Professor and Director of Research, focusing on urban travel behavior through large-scale data analysis. Ed Manley has also contributed to the Headingley Development Trust as a Board Member and was a Turing Fellow at The Alan Turing Institute. With a substantial background in research and project management, Ed Manley has experience in GIS development, having worked as a GIS Development Advisor for VSO and a Programme Manager for HOST UK. Ed Manley holds a Ph.D. in Urban Sustainability and Resilience, along with multiple degrees in related fields from UCL and the University of Leeds.
