Professor Grabill leads the overall education strategy, ensuring the University attracts, excites and retains high-quality students from a wide range of backgrounds.
His brief includes implementing innovative measures to ensure that students benefit from an outstanding education and excellent all-round experience, widening participation, promoting teaching excellence and innovation, and further boosting the employability of the University’s students.
He joined Leeds from Michigan State University, where he was Associate Provost for Teaching, Learning and Technology as well as Director of the Hub for Innovation in Learning and Technology.
As professor of rhetoric and professional writing, his research focuses on how digital writing is associated with citizenship and learning. He is also co-founder of Drawbridge Incorporated, an educational technology company.
