Lina Kanbar

Lina Kanbar is currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Leeds, with an expected graduation in 2025. As a course representative, Lina is involved in an international remanufacturing project sponsored by Borg Automotive, focusing on manufacturing decisions, where the team secured the 11th position in the first part of the project. Additionally, Lina serves as a peer mentor at Leeds Gryphon Racing, contributes to the media team, and works as a drivetrain engineer. Prior experience includes a manufacturing engineering role at Cummins Inc. scheduled for July 2023 to August 2024, a student volunteer position with the Northern Opera Group, and volunteering at Muscat Private Hospital, where skills related to patient care were learned. Lina holds a high school diploma from the International School of Choueifat.
