Navaneethakrishnan Pugazhendi

Navaneethakrishnan Pugazhendi is an Early-Stage Researcher at the University of Leeds since December 2019, contributing to advancements in biomaterials and surface coatings. Previously, Navaneethakrishnan served as a Graduate Student Researcher at Fraunhofer UMSICHT from February 2016 to October 2016, focusing on the erosion and corrosion resistance of thermal sprayed coatings for high-temperature applications under the supervision of Patrick J. Masset. Navaneethakrishnan's experience also includes working as a Systems Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services from July 2011 to November 2014, where projects involved metrics for Thermal System Gas Turbine Engines. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Biomaterials & Surface Coatings from the University of Leeds (2019-2022), a Master of Science in Materials Science from the University of Stuttgart (2014-2017), and a Bachelor of Engineering in Materials Science and Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy (2007-2011). Additionally, Navaneethakrishnan has completed various courses through NPTEL at Indian Institutes of Technology in 2018.
