Susan Preston is an experienced Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Project Officer at the University of Leeds since September 2019, where responsibilities include delivering and monitoring the Athena Swan action plan and promoting gender equality through various initiatives. Previously, Susan served as a Project Officer for Athena SWAN, leading assessment teams and analyzing data for successful submissions. Additional roles included founding and presiding over the Leeds University Commuters' Society and working as a research intern for Leeds City Council. With a Bachelor of Arts in Geography, Susan has also tutored mathematics, conducted urban research, and actively participated in student ambassador programs, showcasing a strong commitment to education and community engagement.
