Dr Hari Subramaniam

Honorary Senior Lecturer, School Of Psychology And Vision Sciences at University of Leicester

Dr. Hari Subramaniam is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in psychiatry and mental health. Currently serving as the Nye Bevan Fellow at the NHS Leadership Academy and an Honorary Professor in the Department of Health Sciences at De Montfort University, Dr. Subramaniam also holds roles as Deputy Medical Director at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust and Special Visitor for the Office of the Public Guardian, specializing in mental capacity assessments. With a background as a Consultant Psychiatrist at Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital and as a Consultant Psychiatrist for the Elderly within the NHS, Dr. Subramaniam has contributed to medical education as an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Leicester. Educational qualifications include an MD from GS Medical College & KEM Hospital, MBBS from the same institution, and advanced degrees in psychiatry, mental health law, and psychological medicine.
