Heather Takahashi

Heather Takahashi, CPHR, serves as the Associate Vice-President of Human Resources at The University of Lethbridge, a position held since September 2018, after fulfilling roles such as Interim Associate Vice-President and Director of HR Services and Strategic Initiatives. Prior experience includes a tenure at Alberta Health Services as a Human Resources Advisor, where expertise encompassed labor relations, performance management, and job evaluation. Heather also held the position of Manager of Human Resources and Facilities at the Workers' Safety & Compensation Commission of the NWT & Nunavut, overseeing comprehensive HR services and managing significant operational budgets. An educational background in psychology was earned at The University of Lethbridge, where a Bachelor's degree was obtained between 1999 and 2004.
