Tony Montina's work experience includes:

- School Board Trustee at Palliser Regional Schools since October 2021.

- Director, Science Operations at The University of Lethbridge since October 2019. In this role, they manage various administrative and leadership responsibilities in the Faculty of Arts and Science Deans Office, including oversight of Central Stores, Science Core Facilities, laboratory and field safety programming, technical services, and space management for science labs. Tony acts as a liaison between Facilities and science Faculty.

- Director, Magnetic Resonance Facility at The University of Lethbridge since July 2009. Tony manages the magnetic resonance facility, which includes several instruments such as NMR spectrometers, EPR spectrometers, computational cluster, NMR probes, and a liquid helium recovery system/production plant.

- Founding Member of the Southern Alberta Genome Sciences Centre since May 2019.

- Founding Member of the Canadian Centre for Research in Advanced Fluorine Technologies since January 2014.

- Associate Member of the School of Graduate Studies at The University of Lethbridge since November 2016.

Tony Montina has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in General Science from The University of Lethbridge, which they obtained between 2002 and 2007. Tony also holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Physical Chemistry (NMR) from The University of Lethbridge, earned between 2007 and 2009.
