Claire E. Eyers is an accomplished academic and researcher currently serving as Associate Pro Vice Chancellor (Research & Impact) in the Faculty of Healthy & Life Sciences and as a Professor of Biological Mass Spectrometry at the University of Liverpool since May 2013. Eyers has also held the position of Scientific Director at Bio-Shape Ltd. since November 2015. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Lecturer in Chemistry and Acting Director of the Michael Barber Centre for Mass Spectrometry at the University of Manchester from October 2004 to May 2013. Eyers's academic journey has included a Royal Society Dorothy Hodgkin Fellowship and postdoctoral research at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Educational credentials include a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Dundee and a BSc in Biochemistry with Industry from the University of Bristol. Additionally, Eyers completed an industrial placement at Rhone-Poulenc Rorer during academic studies.
