Diego Díaz Martín

Diego Díaz Martín, PhD, is an esteemed academic and professional in the fields of Environmental Management, Social Responsibility, and Sustainable Development. With extensive experience, Diego has served as an invited academic professor at the University of Lodz since April 2021, teaching impactful courses on Environmental Management and Impact Assessment. Currently, Diego also holds the position of Director General for Ibero-America and the United States at VITALIS, A.C., overseeing environmental and social programs across multiple countries. In addition, Diego has been a full professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey since July 2018, and has taught at Universidad Anáhuac México and Universidad Metropolitana, where responsibilities included leading academic offerings and research in environmental sciences. Diego's leadership roles have extended to directorial positions in various organizations focused on sustainability, including Ashoka and Global Water Partnership, alongside contributions as a columnist for Forbes México. An accomplished scholar, Diego holds multiple advanced degrees in engineering and environmental management from prestigious institutions.
