Christina Birkentall

Christina Birkentall serves as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette since August 2022, instructing courses in Professional Engagement and various interior design studio classes. With extensive experience as the owner of STUDIO 626 since 1994, Christina specializes in corporate workplace design, residential renovations, and project management for diverse clientele. Previous roles include Interior Design Sales at Contract Associates, Lecturer at the University of Kentucky, and Visiting Assistant Professor at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where Christina developed new courses and engaged in community design projects. Christina's educational background includes a Master's degree in Interior Design with a focus on Historic Preservation from the Savannah College of Art and Design, along with degrees and coursework in Fine Arts and Interior Design from multiple institutions.
