Gene Fields

Gene Fields has been the Chief Information Officer at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette since 2009. Prior to coming to UL Lafayette, he served as the Associate Commissioner for Information Services at the Louisiana Board of Regents. He has worked in the post-secondary education environment since 1986 and served all levels of the enterprise (governing board, policy board, four-year institution, and two-year institution). In addition, he has been the project sponsor for two (2) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations.
