Kylan Melancon

Kylan Melancon, MPA, currently serves as the Assistant Dean at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette since March 2023. Previously, Kylan worked as a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering at Louisiana State University from June 2021 to December 2022, where responsibilities included managing graduate applications, advising students, and overseeing significant grant funding. Kylan's earlier experience at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette involved administrative roles in sponsored programs finance and TRIO Upward Bound, with tasks ranging from grant management to facilitating educational sessions for students. Kylan holds a Master of Public Administration from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
