Andrea Dezi has extensive work experience at the University of Macerata. They started in 2006 as a Faculty Officer, wherein they were responsible for managing logistical supervision, website management, and administrative information. They also communicated with faculty members, students, and other stakeholders, and supported teaching, research, and administrative tasks using technology. From 2012 to 2013, they served as a Manager at the Academic Center for foreign languages, handling accounting management, purchasing, and human resources. They also coordinated administrative activities and managed language lecturers and special projects. In 2015, Andrea became the Administrative and Financial Unit Head of the Office, overseeing office operations until 2017. They also served as a Member of the Academic Senate from 2012 to 2018. Additionally, from 2015 to 2019, Andrea was the Head of Didactics and Students Related Affairs Office. In this role, they managed daily administrative operations, set goals for departments, and collaborated with colleagues to implement policies. They were also a consultant and expert for teaching quality assurance systems. From 2018 to 2021, Andrea served as a member of the Management Board, and since 2019, they have been the Head of the Internationalization Strategies Office. In this position, they are responsible for implementing the university's strategic plan for internationalization, recruiting prospective students, managing international relations, and developing partnerships with international universities and organizations.
Andrea Dezi obtained a Master's degree in Law from the Università degli Studi di Macerata between 1992 and 1996.
