Andrew Wilkinson

Andrew Wilkinson has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Andrew is currently the Chief Executive Officer at the University of Manchester Innovation Factory, where they lead the commercialization of innovations and intellectual property. Prior to this, Andrew was also the Chief Executive Officer at Graphene Enabled Systems, a subsidiary of the University of Manchester, focusing on businesses based on 2D materials technology. Andrew has held various managing director positions at Socomec, a global electrical equipment manufacturing business, and has also served as the Managing Director of Solutions to Environmental Problems, an environmental consultancy. Andrew has extensive sales and marketing experience, having worked as the Sales and Marketing Senior VP/Director at ICI Imagedata and in other sales roles at different companies. Andrew'searly career includes roles at the French Embassy in the United Kingdom, Marketing Communications Ltd, Multisoft Systems plc, and Metal Box plc.

Andrew Wilkinson completed their undergraduate degree in Geological Science with a 2.1 BSc Hons from The University of Manchester between 1983 and 1986. Andrew pursued a postgraduate degree in Marketing at Liverpool John Moores University from 1987 to 1988.
