Bob Pils

Bob Pils is an accomplished facilities management professional with extensive experience in building services and landscape maintenance. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Building Services and Landscape Maintenance at the University of Maryland since October 2023, Pils previously held the position of Director of Building Care at Cornell University from November 2019 to October 2023, overseeing a large team and managing a significant budget while supporting numerous events. Prior to that role, Pils was the Assistant Director for Building Services at the University of Maryland from March 2015 to October 2019, and the Associate Director of Facilities/Manager of Environmental Services at Colgate University from February 1997 to December 2014. Pils holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Relations from PennWest Clarion, earned between 1979 and 1983.
