Deborah Nelson is a distinguished academic and journalist currently serving as a Professor of Investigative Journalism at the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland College Park since June 2021, following a series of roles including Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer, Carnegie Visiting Professor, and Adjunct Lecturer.
