Emily Berman

Emily Berman is an experienced education professional with a strong background in curriculum development, teacher coaching, and project management. Currently a Course Designer at Knowles Teacher Initiative, Emily manages multiple projects, produces engineering curriculum that integrates social justice, and facilitates both online and in-person training. Previously, Emily has served as a Curriculum Developer for BiteScis and Fairfax County Public Schools, and as a Physics and Engineering Teacher, demonstrating expertise in developing NGSS-aligned curricula for diverse learners. Emily's educational background includes a Master's degree in Secondary Education from Brown University and a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience & Behavior and Psychology from Wesleyan University. Key accomplishments include delivering training programs focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion, and successfully mentoring new educators.
