Evelyn Owusu-Asare

Evelyn Owusu-Asare is a dedicated researcher and educator currently serving in dual roles as a Research Assistant and Instructional Assistant at the University of Maryland since August 2022. Concurrently, Evelyn works as a Research Consultant at Optum, focusing on training resource development and technical assistance for the Administration for Community Living's Older Americans Act Reporting System. Prior experience includes serving as a Project Management Fellow with Rocketship Public Schools DC through Education Pioneers, a Senior Research Analyst at The Lewin Group, and a Graduate Assistant at the University of Maryland. Educational credentials include a PhD in Applied Linguistics and Language Education from the University of Maryland (expected 2026) and a Bachelor's Degree in French and Political Science from Grinnell College (2018).
