Jeffrey Hollingsworth

Jeffrey Hollingsworth serves as the Vice President and Chief Information Officer at the University of Maryland College Park since June 2017, also holding the position of Interim Chief Information Officer. Additionally, Jeffrey is a member of the Board of Trustees for Internet2 since December 2018 and has been a professor at the University of Maryland since August 1994. Jeffrey has contributed to the SC Conference Committee since 2002 in various roles and was the Chairperson of the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity Metro Maryland from July 2008 to June 2017, also serving as a board member during that period. Other notable positions include Editor in Chief of PARCO Journal from June 2009 to June 2017 and board member for CRA from 2008 to 2010. Previous experience includes a role as a Visiting Scholar at IBM between 2000 and 2001. Academic credentials include a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
