Robert Patro

Robert Patro is an Associate Professor at the University of Maryland since July 2019, where previously Robert held the position of Assistant Professor. In addition, Robert serves as the CTO and Co-Founder of Ocean Genomics, Inc. since January 2019. Prior to these roles, Robert was an Assistant Professor at Stony Brook University from August 2014 to July 2019. Robert Patro earned a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Maryland between 2006 and 2012, and also holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the same institution, completed in 2006.
