Bruce Thompson Am

Bruce Thompson AM currently serves as the Head of the Melbourne School of Health Science at the University of Melbourne since March 2022. With extensive leadership experience, Bruce held positions including Immediate Past President and President of the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ) from March 2019. Bruce is also affiliated with Kooyoora Ltd since June 2019. Prior roles include Dean of Health Science at Swinburne University of Technology from March 2019 to March 2022, and Professor at Alfred Health from February 2003 to March 2019. Bruce was the Director of Sleepsych from 2000 to 2014. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and a Bachelor's Degree from Swinburne University of Technology.
