Daniel Buttigieg

Daniel Buttigieg is an experienced IT leader currently serving as the Director of Enterprise Technology at The University of Melbourne since January 2015, where responsibilities include directing the design, delivery, and operations of enterprise applications and infrastructure supporting over 9,000 staff and 55,000 students. Previously, Daniel held key roles at Swinburne University of Technology, including Associate Director of Infrastructure, overseeing IT infrastructure for more than 5,500 staff and 40,000 students, and working as a Computer Systems Manager. Daniel possesses a strong educational background in computer science and software engineering, having earned both a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Bachelor of Computer Science from Swinburne University of Technology.
