Professor The Hon Greg Hunt serves as an Honorary Melbourne Enterprise Professor at the University of Melbourne and as Chair of the Turner Institute Advisory Council at Monash University. With a notable career in public service, Hunt was the Minister for Health in the Parliament of Australia from 2001 to 2022, overseeing a significant budget and leading Australia’s pandemic health response. Additional ministerial roles included Minister for Sport, Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science, and Minister for the Environment. Hunt also held advisory positions and managed projects in various sectors with McKinsey & Company and made contributions to international health initiatives through the World Economic Forum. Academically, Hunt holds a Master's degree in International Relations from Yale University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Laws and International Relations from the University of Melbourne.
