Sam Stiegler currently serves as a McKenzie Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Melbourne, beginning in May 2024. Previously, Sam held the position of Hunt-Simes Visiting Junior Chair of Sexuality Studies at the University of Sydney from February to May 2024. Prior to these roles, Sam was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Colgate University from July 2019 to June 2023 and worked as Program Manager for Community Engagement at Health Initiatives for Men from February 2018 to July 2019. Sam completed a Doctoral degree in Education at The University of British Columbia, where studies were conducted from July 2012 to November 2018. Early career experience includes serving as Assistant Director of After School Services at the Hetrick-Martin Institute from April 2008 to June 2012 and a Teaching Intern at New Mission High School during the 2006-2007 academic year. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Education from The University of British Columbia and both an MA in Teaching, Secondary Education and a BA in History and African Studies from Tufts University.
