Frances Marine Davis is the current Secretary of the Board of Trustees at University of Miami. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Director of Communications for the Office of the President at University of Miami from January 2019 to March 2021. From October 2017 to December 2018, they were an Adjunct Faculty at Middle Georgia State University for the Schools of Businesses and Information Technology. From July 2014 to January 2019, they served as University Counsel for Middle Georgia State University. From August 2013 to December 2013, they were an Adjunct Faculty Member at Georgia State University for the Department of Communication in the College of Arts & Sciences. From February 2013 to June 2014, they served as Director of Communications for the School of Public Health at Georgia State University. From August 2012 to January 2013, they were an Adjunct Faculty Member at Temple University for the School of Media & Communication. From July 2007 to February 2013, they served as Director of Public & Media Relations for Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP. And finally, from August 2005 to February 2006, they served as Florida Director of Public Affairs for FEMA.

Frances Marine Davis has a J.D. from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, a B.A. in Social Sciences from Florida State University, and a degree in Political Science from Florida International University. Frances also attended Our Lady of Lourdes Academy for high school.
