Akshay Tate

Akshay Tate is currently serving as a Teaching Assistant for EECS 482 (Operating Systems) at the University of Michigan College of Engineering, collaborating with Professors Chen, Noble, and Huang. In addition, Akshay is a Strategy/Software Engineer with the University of Michigan Solar Car Team, focusing on strategy and simulations. Previous experience includes two internships with Cisco as a Software Engineer, working on Cisco Firepower (Next-Generation Firewall) during the summers of 2023 and 2024. Akshay is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at the University of Michigan College of Engineering, expected to graduate in 2025, following the completion of a High School Diploma from Georgetown Day School in 2021.
