Carlos Otterbach

Carlos Otterbach is a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in the University of Michigan Solar Car Team, where responsibilities include applying FEA Topology Optimization for the Rim/Hub Assembly and car suspension system design to manage substantial loading conditions. As an award winner from the Hispanic Scholarship Fund in 2022, Carlos also serves as Owner of StartUpSites. Previously, Carlos contributed to Tesla's passive magnetic and electric components team, managing the production of over 32 custom components in high/low voltage systems while overseeing various processes. Carlos is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan, having attended Texas A&M University for a Bachelor's degree in the same field.
