Lily Andersen

Lily Andersen is an aspiring electrical engineer currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Minnesota, expected to graduate in 2025. Lily serves as an Electrical Team Member and Team Lead for the University of Minnesota Solar Vehicle Project, where responsibilities include designing a permanent magnet electric motor and conducting PCB layout and design. Previous experience includes a Process Development Internship at Boston Scientific, a Co-op as an Electrification Engineer at Thermo King focusing on high voltage solar panel integration, and multiple roles at the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board that involved customer service and oversight of COVID-19 guidelines. A strong foundation in accounts payable was developed while working at Trellis, along with early experience in recreation and aquatics.
