Hafsa Farooqi

Hafsa Farooqi is a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Minnesota since September 2019. Previously, Hafsa served as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Newcastle from November 2017 to April 2018 and held various roles, including Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant, at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) from September 2009 to February 2012. Hafsa began their career with an internship at ASCENTEUS HOLDINGS SDN BHD from April to July 2009. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Information Technology (Systems and Control) from Politecnico di Milano (2015-2018), a Master’s Degree in Automation and Control Engineering from Politecnico di Milano (2012-2015), a Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the International Islamic University Malaysia (2007-2012), and a high school diploma from Presentation Convent (1992-2004).
