Isabel Zacharias

Isabel Zacharias is currently a Graduate Instructor at the University of Minnesota, where responsibilities include developing syllabi and leading classes in various undergraduate literature and creative writing courses. Pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing, Isabel has previously served as an Editorial Intern at Graywolf Press, reviewing submissions and participating in selection committee meetings for the Nonfiction Prize. Prior experience includes roles as a Special Education Assistant at Clear Creek Middle School, On-Air Host & Producer for KMHD Jazz Radio, and Arts & Culture Writer for Willamette Week and Eugene Weekly. Isabel held the position of Editor in Chief for Oregon Voice Magazine and was involved with StoryCorps as an intern. Isabel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Oregon.
