Lauren Piper

Lauren Piper currently serves as a Graduate Assistant in the Graduate Admissions Office at the University of Minnesota, where responsibilities include providing support to graduate students and co-facilitating research to enhance the application experience for first-generation applicants. Previous experience includes a Clinical Mental Health Internship at M Health Fairview Psychiatry Clinic, where Lauren conducted assessments and provided psychotherapy; a Policy Consultant role at the Minnesota Department of Health, focusing on healthcare regulations; and a Family Services Advocate position at CornerHouse, addressing the needs of families affected by abuse. Lauren's earlier work includes regulatory analysis for healthcare networks and management roles in benefits counseling services for individuals impacted by HIV. Lauren Piper is pursuing dual Master's degrees in Public Policy and Social Work at the University of Minnesota, following a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from St. Olaf College.
