Robert Squires is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Vice Provost for Outreach and Continuing Education at Western Washington University since August 2019. With a strong background in instructional design and online learning, Robert has been the Director of Instructional Design and Technical Support and Director of UMOnline at the University of Montana since October 2011. As a co-founder of Imagine Online Learning from December 2013 to August 2019, Robert contributed to advancing online education by applying learning science research. Prior roles include Interim Associate Director of Instructional Design and Instructional Designer at the University of Montana, and Assistant Director at the English Language Institute. Robert holds a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Montana, a Master of Arts in English Literature from the University of Aberdeen, and a Master of Education in TESOL from The University of Edinburgh.
