Carla Sarratt

Carla Sarratt is the Director of Libraries at the University of Mount Union since July 2020, following a tenure as Library Director at Lincoln University from August 2018 to July 2020, where the Langston Hughes Memorial Library plays a crucial role in the campus experience. Previous roles include positions as Virtual Services Librarian and Librarian at New Hanover County (November 2013 - July 2018) and as Librarian at North Carolina State University (October 2012 - May 2013). Carla's career began as an intern at the State Library of North Carolina and includes experience at the United States Census Bureau in various operational roles. Carla holds a Master of Library Science from North Carolina Central University, a Graduate Non-Degree in Education from The Ohio State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology from Wittenberg University.
