Ellis Beardsley

Ellis Beardsley has diverse experience in leadership and scientific research, currently serving as a Raider Guide at the University of Mount Union since August 2014, assisting with freshmen orientation and organizing weekly events to support new students. Previously, Ellis held the position of Research Biochemist at Penn State University, focusing on the interaction of cyanobacteria's two-enzyme pathway for biofuel applications, and contributed as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk at Betts Industries Inc. Additionally, Ellis has experience as a lifeguard and swim instructor at the Warren Family YMCA. Ellis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Mount Union. Skills include leadership, mediation, organizational planning, and student ambassadorship.
