Jennie Lates

Jennie Lates currently serves as the Head of Department for Pharmacy Practice & Policy and Pharmacy at the University of Namibia, a position held since February 2014. With an extensive career in pharmaceutical services, Jennie Lates previously worked as the Deputy Director of Pharmaceutical Services at the Ministry of Health & Social Services from October 2008 to October 2012 and as the National Medicines Policy Adviser for MSH Namibia from September 2004 to September 2006. Additionally, Jennie Lates contributed as a Pharmaceutical Adviser for the ACIL Pharmacy Upgrade Project in Papua New Guinea from March 2003 to May 2004. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Pharmacy Honours from the University of Bradford, a Clinical Pharmacy Postgraduate Diploma from the University of Keele, a Masters in Pharmacy Education, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education, both from the University of Namibia.
