Rauna Namukwambi

Rauna Namukwambi serves as the Head of Department for Academic Affairs and a Lecturer in Community Health Nursing Science at the University of Namibia since April 2019. With extensive experience in healthcare, Rauna previously worked as a Primary Health Care Supervisor at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health from December 2009 to March 2019, overseeing programs focused on prevention and treatment in the Karas region. Additionally, Rauna has held positions as a Registered Nurse at Luderitz Hospital and the Ministry of Health and Social Services, providing emergency care and managing patient services. Rauna's educational background includes a PhD in Health Information Management from the University of South Africa, a Master of Public Health, and a Bachelor of Business Administration, among other qualifications in nursing and public health.
