Adrian Dowell

Adrian Dowell Jr. currently serves as the Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, a position held since December 2021. Prior to this role, Adrian gained extensive experience at Creighton University from May 2014 to December 2021, advancing through several positions including Associate Athletic Director and Assistant Athletic Director. Earlier experience includes serving as the Major Gifts Officer and Director of Development at West Virginia University from June 2009 to May 2014. Adrian's career began with roles at NCAA and the Old Dominion Athletic Conference, alongside a student employee position in the Roanoke College Athletic Department. Academic qualifications include a Master's of Science and an MBA from West Virginia University, as well as a Bachelor's of Science in Sports Management from Roanoke College.
