John Amend

John Amend has extensive experience in facilities management and planning, currently serving as the Assistant Vice Chancellor and Director of Facilities Management and Planning at the University of Nebraska at Omaha since 2005. Previous positions include Director of Facilities at the Nevada System of Higher Education, Associate Vice President and Director of Facilities at the University of Iowa, and Associate Vice President for Administration at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Additionally, John Amend held the role of Assistant Director of the Physical Plant at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Educational credentials include a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Science in Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, all from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
