Sammi Kaiser

Sammi Kaiser, PhD, currently serves as the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Success and Senior Director of Academic Advising and Career Development at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, a position held since November 2014. In this role, Sammi leads campus-wide advising initiatives, manages the Advising Leads Council, and establishes a career growth framework for academic advising. Previous experience includes directing the Academic & Career Development Center and serving as Assistant Director of Academic Advising at the same institution. Additionally, Sammi operates as a consultant with SB Consultants and Coaching, specializing in strengths-based approaches for higher education professionals. Earlier roles encompassed directorship at Iowa Western Community College and graduate student responsibilities at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Sammi holds a PhD in Educational Studies from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and possesses a strong foundation in educational leadership and student affairs.
