Bill Johnson

Bill Johnson currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Development at the University of Nebraska Foundation, a position held since June 2023. Prior to this role, Bill was the Vice President of Advancement and Executive Director of the Foundation at the University of Nevada, Reno, where also served as the Interim Director of Athletics, overseeing a Division I Athletic Program. Additional experience includes leadership roles at institutions such as California State University - East Bay and the University of the Pacific, alongside contributions to the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. Bill's professional background encompasses a variety of development and advancement positions, as well as coaching roles in basketball at both the University of San Francisco and Columbia University. Bill holds a Bachelor/Master's degree in Education Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and completed an Administrative Fellowship at Harvard University.
