Dane Colson

Dane Colson is a Prospect Research Analyst II at the University of Nebraska Foundation since September 2015, responsible for conducting prospect research, data maintenance, analysis, and report writing, while utilizing various tools including Raiser's Edge and SQL. Previously, Dane held the position of Prospect Research Analyst and supervised a team of interns, focusing on similar research and data-related tasks. Prior to this role, Dane taught high school mathematics and served as an assistant basketball coach at Louisville Public Schools and Lewis-Palmer School District 38 from 2007 to 2015. Dane holds a Master’s degree and a Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, along with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education - Mathematics from the same institution. Additional academic pursuits include 24 credit hours toward a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
